    Milan Grygar’s collage poster for children’s tale from prehistoric times.

    Poster is in A3 format (42.4 x 29 cm). Unfolded. Stained and creased with 1cm crack and other smaller ones on top edge. Bottom corner with small fold. Soft scratch marks visible across the surface. Very nice condition.

    Movie posters in our collection were promotional materials. Posters used on display in the cinemas across the former Czechoslovakia. They bear signs of their age.

    Milan Grygar was Czechoslovak audiovisual artist, painter and musician. His main passion re-occurring throughout his life was the relationship between the drawing and the sound. Milan Grygar has been very active graphic artist with over hundred movie posters and numerous number of book illustrations. Influenced by the post war neo Avant-garde tendencies and music, his movie poster designs are a pride of every collection.
