Beautifully illustrated movie poster by Vratislav Hlavatý.

Poster is in A3 format (41 x 29.1 cm). Folded into eights. Creased across. Folds and pinholes in corners. Stain spots in bottom part at the back. 1 cm crack on bottom edge. Very nice condition (NOT PHOTOGRAPHED, PLEASE ASK IF YOU WISH TO SEE A PHOTO).

Movie posters in our collection were promotional materials. Posters used on display in the cinemas across the former Czechoslovakia. They bear signs of their age.


Vratislav Hlavatý, author of several awarded posters among his 82 total score. His movie posters were made with extraordinary naive, almost childish innocence, while themes of the movies were tickling serious issues. Unusual expression that brought him also international recognition.
