Movie poster designed for Věra Chytilová’s picture by Czech fine artist Libor Fára. Movie has been banned by the Communist censors right after the screening and has not seen the light again until 1989. Officials believed such a movie would have a terrible influence on young. Promotional materials were usually scrapped.

    Libor Fára’s minimalist poster design for Věra Chytilová’s controversial comedy.

    Poster is in A3 format (42 x 29.3 cm). Printed on both sides. Unfolded. Slight crease and occasional soft stain spots on edges. Small folds in some corners. One side of the poster is showing printing lines in top part. Excellent condition (NOT PHOTOGRAPHED, PLEASE ASK IF YOU WISH TO SEE A PHOTO).
