Bold movie poster design by Naděžda Bláhová for Italian crime drama Hold-Up. Blahová’s powerful design is based on a large title dominating the top part of the poster and the dynamic illustration in simple black, white and red colour scheme.

Poster is in A3 format (41.4 x 29.1 cm). Folded across the middle and in top corner. Gentle crease and cracks on edges. Very nice condition (NOT PHOTOGRAPHED, PLEASE ASK IF YOU WISH TO SEE A PHOTO).

Movie posters in our collection were promotional materials. Posters used on display in the cinemas across the former Czechoslovakia. They bear signs of their age.

Czech graphic artist, book illustrator and photographer Naděžda Bláhová exhibited internationally since mid 50’s. She created possibly not more than thirty movie posters and some of them are real rarities. You can read interesting article about her in our poster blog.
