The Firemen’s Ball movie poster designed for Miloš Forman’s excellent comedy nominated for an Oscar in a Best Foreign Language Film category in 1969. In spite its international success the movie was banned by the Communist Regime. The movie was the first colour film by Forman and the last he had directed in his native Czechoslovakia. The Firemen’s Ball is considered one of the most important films of Czechoslovak New Wave.

Poster is in A3 format (41.5 x 28.7 cm). Unfolded. Little crack on the left edge. Gently creased corner. Very nice condition (NOT PHOTOGRAPHED, PLEASE ASK IF YOU WISH TO SEE A PHOTO). / Please note this is the second edition of the poster printed in 1988.
