    Excellent movie poster designed by Karel Machálek.

    Lotte in Weimar movie poster was designed for Egon Gϋnther’s adaptation of the novel The Beloved Returns – Lotte in Weimar by Thomas Mann. Mann’s novel is based on the true story of Johan Wolfgang Geothe and Charlotte Kestner neé Buff which Geothe immortalised in his famous book The Sorrows of Young Werther. The excellent graphics of the poster based on the play between black shadows placed against the visually strong background was designed by Karel Machálek.

    Poster is in A3 format (41.9 x 29.1 cm). Unfolded. Slight crease with few little cracks and occasional soft stain on edges. Small folds in some corners. Excellent condition (NOT PHOTOGRAPHED, PLEASE ASK IF YOU WISH TO SEE A PHOTO).
