Poster is in A3 format (41.9 x 28 cm). Folded into thirds. Occasional crease on edges and folds. Folds and pinholes in the corners. 1.7 cm crack on bottom edge. Very nice condition (NOT PHOTOGRAPHED, PLEASE ASK IF YOU WISH TO SEE A PHOTO).

Movie posters in our collection were promotional materials. Posters used on display in the cinemas across the former Czechoslovakia. They bear signs of their age.

Milan Grygar is Slovak born audiovisual artist, musician and painter. His main passion re-occurring throughout his life is the relationship between the drawing and the sound. He has been very active also as a graphic artist and designed over hundred movie posters and a good number of book illustrations. Influenced by avant-garde tendencies and music, he took his poster designing into another level. Their simplicity was giving headache to communist censors and apparently was very problematic (paraphrasing Zdeněk Ziegler from one of his radio talks). His movie posters are pride of every poster collection.
