    Surreal poster illustration for Spanish ballet movie.

    Poster is folded into quarters. Gentle crease on edges and folds. Bit of soft stain and pen writing across the folds at the back. Poster is in large A1 format (83.9 x 58.5 cm). Very nice condition.

    Movie posters in our collection were promotional materials. Posters used on display in the cinemas across the former Czechoslovakia. They bear signs of their age.

    Zdeněk Vlach is renown Czech poster designer and book illustrator. He finished two years at the Academy of Fine Art in Prague and exhibited his work since 1960s. He has created over two hundreds movie posters during his career. Zdeněk Vlach received poster award from The Hollywood Reporter Magazine for Men’s Summer in 1977 and also Gold Medal for his movie poster Agony: The Life and Death of Rasputin from International Film Festival Chicago in 1982.
