Poster is folded into quarters. Slight crease on edges and folds. Small blue spot in top right corner (possibly part of print as it appears also on other posters). Tiny pinholes on edges. Poster is in large A1 format (81.2 x 58 cm). Very nice condition.

Movie posters in our collection were promotional materials. Posters used on display in the cinemas across the former Czechoslovakia. They bear signs of their age.

Adolf Born is a well know Czech artist, illustrator and filmmaker. He studied at the School of Applied Art in Prague and since 1960s his works has been exhibited all around the world. His humorous cartoons are frequently published in magazines and his imaginative illustrations adorn hundreds of books. His impressive film poster portfolio extends from early 1960s all the way to mid 1990s. He illustrated something over 400 books, made 45 animations and designed 19 movie posters.
